The Capital Regional Beekeepers Association (CRBA) meets on the second Thursday of every month. This meeting usually starts with a beginners/intermediate beekeeper corner 30 minutes before the regular club proceedings start around 7pm.
Agenda

- 6:30-7:00 Intermediates Corner Downstairs: Christina Klimaschka: Topic TBD
- 7:00-7:45ish: Amy S: Best Garden Plants for Bees
In 2024 I decided to closely observe the wide diversity of bees in my garden and nursery to understand more about the flowers they favour. This presentation will highlight some of the best forage plants for different seasons from my collection of hardy, low water perennials and shrubs.
Amy Sanderson is a gardener and owner of the specialty nursery Stellata Plants in Central Saanich. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Amy’s unquenchable thirst for better garden plants sent her on a study tour of English gardens, including Beth Chatto’s and Great Dixter. Subsequently, there was no choice but to move to Vancouver Island and open a nursery focused on resilient perennials.
