- Bill began the meeting @ 7:10pm
- Carolyn, Cindy and Nicole have receipts for some expenses

- Great central location
- Separate area for new beekeepers
- Kitchen area
- Easy access outside
- Drawback – no place to store equipment on site
- Sound and projection system; use our own for lower
- Rent is significantly higher than previous location
- Would be 3rd Thursday of month
- School has big parking lot, but blocked off at night.
- Still some parking, but not huge
- Royal Oak Shopping center is nearby
- We could put school section with sign say “gates will be closed at 9pm”
- Brentwood Senior’s Centre
- Long way out for Western Communities
- Price wise and facility wise it gives us everything we need.
- Onsite storage is available.
- Can we send a survey to members to get their input on location? Try and get it out by this weekend. Include address so people can determine distance from their location.
- Fees for 2022
- New Memberships as of now should be for 2022
- Motion to return to $32/yr by Bill 2 nd by Don.
- Elections
- President, Secretary, Membership Secretary, 2nd VP up for re-election (2nd VP being vacated.)
- Victoria, Cindy and Simon are willing to stay on in some capacity.
- Bill Cavers has expressed interest.
- Skill set for being on the executive is not the same as skillset for being a beekeeper. Interest and enthusiasm are most important.
- Need to put it out to the membership that we need more interest.

- Anonymous $1000 donation has been made to the club
- Should cover the extra costs for 2 trips if necessary
- $15 for footprint of a box last year
- $952 was the transportation cost last year.
- 26ft truck was used.

- Last year people gave 2 500g jars
- Carolyn won’t go until the gas situation stabilizes
- Nicole to email Carolyn’s request to those that went to outyards
