- Bill began the meeting @ 7:23pm
- Little disappointment with the general meeting getting cut off at 40mins.
- November – Honey Chef is in and out of town.
- Carolyn hasn’t made contact yet.
- There would be a recipe that would be sent out in advance.
- 30 on last week’s Zoom meeting.
- May have to schedule based on chef’s availability.
- BCHPA presentations coming up. Werner to send out a reminder.
- Live then videos are put up on website later.
- Nov. 18th as 11th is a holiday:
- Book reviews – favourite books
- Redo on the new beekeeper’s Q&A
- Would be good to have Werner on the call
- Expectations for nucs next year.

- Saanich church. West Saanich Road and Royal Oak
- Has projector screens and projector
- Unsure of sound
- Downstairs for new beekeepers
- About $300/month
- No storage
- Could park in Royal Oak plaza and walk over
- Place to setup tables
- Would have to be the 3rd Thursday of the month
- Need to clarify what happens if Covid shuts things down again.
- Bob Lucy has the library books
- Honey for Queesto. Still need to arrange. Carolyn will go sometime after October – Nicole has list of people that went to outyards.
- Holiday card
- Should have Buckerfields and Cowichan Valley Bees and Supplies promotions.
- Cindy will “cook up” the card. Need new people’s signatures (Rinah, Victoria)
- Sterigenics
- Kazlyn found existing funding has expired.
- May be difficult next year due to new procedures.
- Ship/leave come back.
- Double or triple price due to 2 day adventure.
- Carolyn to check in with service such as Diamond Delivery.
- Increased power causes problems if any honey remains.
- Don to talk to Alanna.
