- Bill began the meeting @ 7:06pm
- What to do for November Meeting
- Zoom meeting with presentation and then participation?
- Need nominees for financial review. Can use “hands” in Zoom.
- “Disastrous Decisions” – 4 or 5 people to tell their stories.
- Larry (if available) – What to do in November?

- Brent available to moderate?
- Zoom meetings versus webinar – with webinar, not all participants have camera, but can be enabled by moderator.

- Small group meetings in total 50-60 people – so there is a significant group not participating.

- Library cart, projector and storage cabinet need to be moved
- Current plan provided main hall, downstairs and part of kitchen area. About $1,500/yr
- Simon should be able to provide space in his work office for temporary storage.
- For now we will not look for a new meeting space. Wait until the pandemic situation is clearer

- Motion to accept proposed bylaw amendments as circulated for presentation at AGM with the term “volunteer” replaced with “nominee” in section 13.1

- Normally March, can we go in February?
- Would allow equipment to be available when packages arrive
- Iotron is flexible
- May involve overnight trip
- This year it was an Iotron “bee day”
- Touch base with Alanna to organize
- Exec Replacement for 2021
- Kazlyn is planning to wrap up in March
- Looking for nominees – highlight in newsletter
- Treasurer, 1st and 2nd Vice President positions are believed to expire in March
- Any interest from membership renewal forms? Yes, 4 or 5 other than existing executives.
- Treasurer position is straightforward unless the club hosts the BCHPA annual meeting.
- Should approach those that are regularly attending the small group meetings.
- Volunteers for helping out at Larry’s farm
- Should have another work party
- Don going up on Thursday
- Bill organizing a weekend trip
- Laurel Point expressed interest in having bees on their property
- Will add them to our section on the website
- Lindsay Dault is looking for honey – will add her to website.
- Adjust membership fee since not renting a hall for now?
- Will check with Kazlyn for an appropriate discount for next year
- Reminder to go out to those who deferred payment
- Carolyn received an email today that indicates the lock has been replaced on the gate to the outyards
- Looking for honey donations to take out to Queesto
- Query indicating Mosaic has been charging beekeepers $500 to put hives on their lands
- Carolyn to reach out to her contact
- Some beekeeping equipment may be available for a giveaway in the new year
- Bear sighting on West Saanich Rd.
