• No direct feedback regarding cancellation of November meeting. It seems most members are ready to take a break and plan for next year
• Plans for Spring 2023:
  • January – how to assemble bee equipment – with the number of new beekeepers some tips and tricks will be very helpful
  • February – Rosemary Ishkanian – Willow in Your Garden
  • CRBA – Annual General Meeting and Inventions and Contraptions
• Our contract for the space at the Brentwood Community Centre expires at the end of December. The space has been very good for the club with some issues around the microphones (they can be fixed) Unanimous agreement to go ahead with renewal of the contract. Cathy T will contact the Centre staff to draft the new agreement.
• Note regarding 2023 membership fees about to go out with new card and logo
• Pat form Cowichan Bees will only be selling bee packages in 2023 (no nucs or queens) due to shipping and timing issues
• The Sterigenics plan for 2023 needs to begin in December with people auditing their equipment and determining how much gear they want to send for sterilization. A note to go out in December
• Mic problems and audio video issues. Is there a club member who can be the audio / visual expert and help the rest of us set up for each meeting
• We are prepared to purchase a wearable mic to help with club members
