• Meeting start: 7:07 pm
• Club’s 75th Anniversary; celebration will be held on August 10th at Beaver Lake Park
  Action item: Cindy will book the covered picnic area
  Action item: Mary will order a cake for 40-45 people
  Action item: Mary will look into a fruit punch
  Action item: Victoria/Cindy will confirm requirements for glasses, plates & cutlery
• Swarm Committee – Peter Day is working on the volunteer schedule. Some volunteers have contacted the executive to ask when they will be contacted, as they have not heard from Peter yet.
  Action item: Bill C will contact Peter Day for an update.
• Small Groups; Bill C. has received a handful of responses from members interested in the small group meetings. Board members shared that club members may have contacted their area leader directly.
  Action item: Bill C will reach out to the group leaders to confirm interest in the small group meetings.
• CRBA Policies, website locations; a review of the information on the club website is required, some information should be relocated to the members only page.
  Action item: Bill C. will review content and advise on what needs to be relocated.
• June meeting subjects;
  1. Honey Judging; what is it? Who does it?
  2. Queen rearing; Don L to present
  3. What to do in June – Larry L

  Action item: Victoria to contact Bill Jackson and enquire on how to access training to become a honey judge
  Action item: Bill C. will reach out to a couple of members and solicit a speaker for a short presentation on what a honey judge does.

• Mentoring Program; no new volunteers have stepped forward to act as mentors to club members. The list of mentors on the website needs updating.
  Action item: Bill C. will contact those listed and confirm if they wish to remain
• Director at Large; Executive voted unanimously to appoint Bill Hadden as a Director-at-large for a two year term
• Saanich Fair; this year taking place on Sept. 2, 3, and 4. Judges have been confirmed, volunteers to manage the booth are still required.
  Action item: Victoria will send out an email to club members to ask for volunteers.
