Bill Fosdick called the meeting to order at 7:17 PM.
Bill introduced the new executive.
Discussion was held as to whether the AGM should be in February or March.
The topic of the criteria was brought up at the AGM when the By-Laws were being discussed. Alanya Smith volunteered to write a draft with input from members.
Rupert Rode raised the question about the need for an audit which is stated in the By-Laws. Should the By-Law be changed to “management review”. A monthly cash flow statement will be submitted to members. Two individuals should be nominated, who are not on the executive to go over the books with the treasurer a month prior to the AGM.

Mentorship for New Members – this will be a challenge
Field days are very popular to get members involved. Both Wendi and David, South Island bee inspectors, indicated that they would be willing to attend field days.
Shirley Richardson will be asked if she is willing to do another survey on winter loses and then to ask what would members would like to see at the monthly meetings.

Bob Wadsworth will design a field day template. Question was raised would Saanich Fair Grounds to allow the club to have an area to have hives stationed to do field days?
Barry Denluck will be in charge of the “New Beekeeper Corner”.
