Attending: Bill F, Irene T, Rupert R, Carolyn H and Tara B
Bill called the meeting order at 7:10pm.
Annual General Meeting – March, 2018
Rupert R – Financials are ready – 2 members who volunteered to review the financial reports have them. Budget needs to be looked at by the executive. Rupert explained to the executive his budget. A motion to raise the membership fees to $32.00 in 2019 should be made.
Election of officers 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President and Membership Secretary; Swarm committee coordinator is needed.
Small Group Management – Carolyn will show the map for the membership.
Book library needs to let membership know what is available.
Iotron is set for Wednesday, March 15th , Alanna needs help.
Carolyn will get a list made up and have it available to the membership on bulk buying for equipment from Dancing Bee out of Ontario.
Paypal – the executive has okayed the use of Paypal for the membership.
April Meeting – Tara will contact someone she met to speak on the beekeeping tribe in the Congo. Stan Reist to speak on Apivar treatment for mites.
Swarm prevention.
