We were all getting used to wearing masks when meeting other people, and not really rubbing shoulders with folks at gatherings. But things are getting back to normal as BC has lifted restrictions related to Covid. Indeed, we are now able to meet, in-person and exchange ideas like the good ol’ times!
Our new location for meeting up is at the Central Saanich Seniors Centre in Brentwood Bay (1229 Clarke Rd):
The location is now closer to folks higher up the Saanich Peninsula, but hopefully still within reach of those wanting to enjoy the discussions around insects over a cup of tea and crumpets – bring your own mug!
As we move back to the idea of face-to-face meetings, there may be some folks who are still concerned about Covid yet want to be part of the discussion. We aim to provide an option to join in via Zoom as part of this new normal. And for those who really miss the boat – because life happens – recordings will be posted to Youtube with links available to members… nothing like catching up on some beekeeping discussions as part of your bedtime routine.
