While the rest of the continent seems to be suffering from extreme cold we have had temperatures that let the bees fly out periodically and remind us that they are still alive and patiently waiting for spring. Personally, I am not sure if the last of my two hives will make it through February, their numbers are not looking large enough to make it to the finish/start line for another season.
As we wrap up the year with our AGM, I ask you to consider how you will get involved with the club. We will have elections at our March 9th meeting and committees like the swarm and out yard committee will need to be re-constituted. It would be ideal to have every Executive position staffed and an equal number of Directors-at-Large commit to sharing the decision making for the club in the coming year.
- President
- Second Vice President
- Treasurer
- Directors-at-Large (Cindy would be thrilled to learn that there is someone who has a tech background and can help us refine our Zoom recordings during the club meetings 🙂
