Other, regular equipment is also available from our buy-and-sell page.

    Hi Folks,

    Don’t forget to contact Wendi or me for a permit, prior to sale of your bees.
    Purchasers, be sure to ask for proof of permit prior to purchasing.

    The permit is a legal requirement, for the purpose of preventing the spread of disease.

    Animal Health Act
    BEE REGULATION

    Sales of bees or equipment
    9 (1) A person must not transfer the person’s interest in bees or used beehive equipment without first obtaining a permit under section 11 (1) of the Act.

    Offences
    13 A person who contravenes any of the following provisions commits an offence:
    (f) section 9 (1) [unlawfully transferring bees or equipment];

    If you have any questions about the process of acquiring a permit, please be sure to give Wendi or me a call.
